Such a cute sandwich shop. It was packed when we went in. Everywhere was, but they were delicious we got salads, and sandwiches in our party and everyone was happy with their choices. It is small and it does take some time but it was understandable since it was the rush of lunch time with a lot of people in there.

So cute! In business since 1978 and looks like it is true to its (probably crunchy/health food/hippie?) roots. The shop even SMELLS delicious as soon as you walk in, which the super nice counter worker assured me was because of the bread. And there is a great selection of breads and meats. They have a soup of the day - which all looked fabulous. Our 12" ham, salami, and provolone on French sandwich was delicious.
I don't know why I took so long to eat here ! I had the the best Philly steak sandwich west of Pa ! My husband got the roast beef and ham , he loved it ! They were super busy but had a lot of workers, got food rather quickly! Oh and the prices are reasonable!
Really good sandwiches on really great bread. Small business in a small town. Staff had positive attitudes. Service was fast. Facility a little worn. Don't let the look deceive you.
Great sandwiches as always but getting pretty run down inside. Took us 3 tables to find one that the bench wasn't rickety or the table wasn't coming off the wall.
Our family has been here twice while visiting Buffalo last summer and this Fall. The sandwiches are fresh and amazing. Friendly service. Honestly it's our favorite place to eat here in Buffalo - Hands down
They have great salads and excellent gluten free bread for sandwiches. The service is fast and with a smile.
Road trip! Stumbled across this on yelp and the reviews brought us in. I am Attaching menu photos as not being able to see them was the only reason we almost passed this place up. Lots of parking - was able to easily find a place to park our van and pop up trailer (we were here around 2:30 though - not sure what it's like closer to lunch). The dining room was big with plenty of tables. The salad was yummy. Sandwiches were good, and there was plenty of variety. The prices were great. Highlight? The bread. Is really is delicious. Looking for a quick stop that isn't McDonald's? You won't be disappointed.
